The Horse in Art 2025: The Annual Exhibition of the Society of Equestrian Artists
Art exhibition from 7th October - 1st November
A unique opportunity for art lovers and horse enthusiasts to immerse themselves in an exhibition dedicated to equestrian art.
The Garden Rooms is delighted to once again be hosting the Society of Equestrian Artists’ annual The Horse in Art exhibition from 7th October – 1st November. The exhibition will showcase works by some of the UK’s most renowned and emerging equestrian artists. From the power of horse racing, to the gentle strength of heavy horses; from polo ponies to mares and foals at rest, the Society’s artists draw on their passion for the equestrian form to capture the spirit of the horse in art.
The exhibition features a broad spectrum of styles and mediums and all work will be for sale.
Jane Braithwaite, Chair of the Society, says:

About the society of Equestrian Artists
The Society of Equestrian Artists is dedicated to education in the challenging art of painting horses. To this end, they organise painting workshops (including residential) throughout the country where artists have the opportunity to paint horses from life under the tutelage of some of their most renowned Full Members.
In addition, they hold an exhibitions to show our member’s work. Having previously exhibited at London galleries such as The Mall Gallery and Christie’s, and Palace House in Newmarket, this is the second time the society has exhibited at The Garden Rooms at Tennants.
